Stardew Valley update 1.5 is in the “home stretch” says ConcernedApe

According to developer ConcernedApe, we’re not too far away from my yearly incentive to start a new farm in Stardew Valley. Update 1.5 for the farm and life simulation game is coming right along and is in the “home stretch” he says. ConcernedApe has been tossing out bits of info about what the update will include for a few months, but we’ll get to see it ourselves before too long.

Well, well Cyberpunk 2077 may have been delayed yet again but CD Projekt Red are certainly not powering down the marketing cannon. No siree, they’ve scheduled another Night City Wire livestream for next Thursday, November 19th. If that date feels familiar, yes, it was the game’s expected release date before the delay to December. This time they’ll be digging into Johnny Silverhand, the celebrity rockerboy played by Keanu Reeves.

What new gaming subscription service would you want?

A man reading books from a many-armed reading table in an illustration from 'The Century illustrated monthly magazine.'.

One-off purchases are out, and recurring payments are in. Subscription services are hot again, with publishers from EA to Ubisoft giving access to their games for monthly fees, Stadia charging for better cloud gaming, Fortnite considering fashion subs, and so many companies threatening to send boxes of tat to your door. So few seem worth it. But I’m curious: if you could create a new gaming subscription service, what would you want? I’d be tempted by The Sims.
